Aggreko is hiring a Utility Technician to be based in Pearland, TX. This on-site position supports service-center operations, equipment readiness and safety standards.

You will load and unload equipment, verify counts, and ensure clean, safe storage of rental gear. The role requires a High School diploma, 0–3 years in a yard/warehouse, strong customer service, and willingness to work overtime, travel, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Based out of Pearland service center and loaded/unloaded equipment and materials with forklifts.
• Prepare and verify counts of rental equipment prior to delivery/arrival.
• Clean and store rental equipment after return.
• Keep jobsite, yard and warehouse clean and safe.
• Drive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessories; conduct cycle counts.
• Wash rental equipment and inspect/repair cables.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll be based out of our Pearland, TX service center.
• Load and unload equipment and materials with large and small forklifts.
• Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery and arrival
• Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center
• Keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse cleaned and up to safety standards
• Drive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessories
• Inventory cycle counts
• Wash rental equipment
• Inspect and repair cable

Other Essential Job Requirements

• Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts
• Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
• Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level
• Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders
• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
