Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Homewood, IL is seeking a Plant Operator to support filling, milling, premix and shipping on an Afternoon Shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). Duties are routine with some independent judgment and may include weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Operate forklifts and packaging equipment as needed.
• Assist filling/milling/shipping departments when required.
• Load recycling trailers and stage raw materials for premix.
• Follow fire safety procedures and EPA-related waste handling.
