Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our distribution operations. The role involves picking, packing, and shipping paint and related products, moving stock, and utilizing forklifts or other equipment to transport items within the facility.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventories, inspecting products, and following safety and quality guidelines. Candidates should be prepared to operate automated systems and participate in continuous workflow

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Preference for 1 year in manufacturing or distribution
• Preference for 1 year operating mobile power equipment (lift trucks, tow motors, pallet handling)
• Preference for 1 year operating stationary power equipment (palletizers, conveyors, hoists)
• Preference for 1 year order picking and data entry/scanning
• Preference for 1 year as a picker/packer in a warehouse or distribution center

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick orders
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately
• Operate robots to facilitate effective warehouse operations
• Coordinate site damage/re-pour area
• Abide by all company safety and quality expectations
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
