Job summary

Inframark is looking for a dependable Utility Technician to support field operations across water, wastewater, and drainage facilities. The role focuses on general labor tasks, repairs, inspections, and equipment handling to keep systems running smoothly.

You will perform lawn and grounds maintenance, manage inventory, and assist with site cleanups, while being available for weekends, evenings, and emergency calls. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Utility Technician

The Utility Technician I is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities.


• Makes scheduled inspections.


• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.


• Shovels dirt and gravel.


• Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.


• Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen clean up.


• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or ged.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

Valid Driver’s License and maintains insurable driving record.

TECHNICAL

Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.
