Job summary

The City of Peoria, AZ is seeking personnel to join the water department to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair work on the water system, including well-field treatment and delivery systems.

Shifts may include weekends, holidays, standby and on-call duties. Education: high school diploma; Experience: none required. Certifications and licenses must be obtained within the specified timeframes after hire.

• Physical labor is a main job requirement.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid Arizona Class \"A\" Commercial Driver's License with HazMAT and Tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire.


• Grade I Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Certification in Water Distribution or Water Treatment within one year of hire.
