Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) is seeking a New Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for commercial and residential land developers and builders in the Knoxville area. This role coordinates with developers, contractors, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of utility services.
The position requires strong communication, customer service, time management, and familiarity with utility design and policies.

In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for commercial and residential land developers and builders and act as a liaison between external customers or agencies and KUB personnel. You'll communicate with customers daily to understand their needs, advise on utility solutions, and coordinate multiple projects from start to finish. Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to operate and to get in and out of a vehicle many times a day. Requires the ability to move freely throughout the office to review maps, drawings, and design layouts while meeting with internal and external customers. Requires the ability to move freely about customers’ properties over all types of terrain. Requires the ability to work under pressure and tight time constraints while addressing numerous customer issues related to providing new utility service. Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
