Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or closely related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in developing and administering safety and training programs.
• Experience in utilities operations and understanding of safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage the Utilities Department's safety/health program and related policies.
• Lead managers and staff in creating and sustaining a safety program.
• Investigate injuries/incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Regularly track incident frequency/severity and report findings.
• Coordinate with risk management and participate in external safety audits.
• Assist in emergencies and support first responders when needed.
