Plastipak is seeking a Utility Room Mechanic to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You will implement preventive maintenance plans, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and drive continuous improvements that protect equipment, product quality, and personnel.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in industrial maintenance. You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, earning about $30 per hour with a full benefits package

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining industrial facility and production systems.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems up to 600psi.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems of up to 480v.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and interpret technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of plumbing, airflow systems, and PLCs.

Responsabilités

• Execute, monitor, and continuously improve preventative maintenance plans for critical building and production systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of utility infrastructure including boilers, chillers, air compression systems up to 600psi, and HVAC.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions on production and facility equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to support troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational best practices.

What You Will Do

Shift & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
