Plastipak Packaging seeks a Utility Room Mechanic to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You will implement preventative maintenance for building and production systems, monitor utility infrastructure like boilers, chillers, air compression up to 600psi, and HVAC, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of experience with industrial systems, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical up to 480V,

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems up to 600 psi.
• Experience with electrical systems up to 480 V and PLCs.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Responsabilités

• Execute, monitor, and improve preventative maintenance plans for building and production systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of utility infrastructure including boilers, chillers, air compression up to 600psi, and HVAC.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions on production and facility equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain safety, quality, and operational standards.

We are looking for a Utility Room Mechanic who takes pride in keeping our facility running safely and efficiently. You will execute and refine preventative maintenance plans, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and drive continuous improvements that protect our equipment, our product, and our people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintain strict compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining industrial facility and production systems.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems up to 600psi.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems of up to 480v.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and interpret technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of plumbing, airflow systems, and PLCs..

SHIFT & COMPENSATION

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $30/hr
