Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Project Controls Specialist with dedicated Scheduler expertise to support PMO initiatives for a utility client in the Greater Detroit, MI area. The role develops, monitors, and updates integrated project plans and schedules to ensure efficient project execution.

The Scheduler applies established methods and templates to manage, develop, and control project schedules, with an emphasis on data credibility, reporting, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work groups and projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports project teams in developing the project plan and translating it into the schedule.
• Develops schedule analysis, including CPM, time impact and delay analysis.
• Ensures the credibility of information contained in the schedule.
• Assists with preparation of project time and/or cost claims.
• Develops and records project historical schedule information and lessons learned.
• Applies scheduling methodologies, techniques, tools, software, standards, and guidelines; knowledgeable in scheduling software applications.
• Ensures required project scheduling controls are implemented and maintained.
• Participates in continuous improvement of the scheduling organization.
