Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking a Project Controls Specialist/Project Scheduler to support engineers, project managers and construction managers across energy technologies. You will administer budgeting, forecasting, reporting and schedule progress for multiple projects, ensuring schedules meet contractual requirements and providing executive summaries as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–3 years experience in the utility industry.
• Proven scheduling, management and technical skills to develop effective schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and progress project schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
• Prepare monthly reports comparing baseline to progress schedules including critical path, resource loading and cost loading.
• Ensure accurate accounting and capital postings for reporting and budgets.
• Prepare, issue and present reports and mitigation strategies based on critical path analysis.
• Provide scheduling support for all projects and coordinate priorities with teams.
• Travel to project sites within North America as needed.
