ENGIE North America is seeking a Utility Plant Operator I to oversee safe, reliable operation of campus utility systems, including boilers, turbines, chillers, and emergency generators. Under supervision, you will monitor readings, troubleshoot, and maintain logs, while following safety and environmental standards.

The role includes hands-on operations and periodic training to advance to Operator II. Shifts are 12 hours, with days or nights on a fixed schedule, and a 2-2-3 cycle with every other

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Monitor plant systems, take readings, and adjust operations to maintain performance and efficiency.
• Respond to alarms and changing system conditions.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Execute equipment startup, shutdown, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Operate boilers, turbines, chillers, generators, and associated utility systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant equipment and work areas.
• Communicate effectively with incoming shifts to ensure continuity of operations.
