Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Utility Pipe Layer in Dublin, OH who will assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes in compliance with city ordinances. The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and skill in pipe fitting techniques.

The position involves measuring routes, locating systems, removing old piping, and ensuring proper sealing and alignment to keep construction on schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction experience.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
• Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue.
• Installing auxiliary lines.
• Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Filling and sealing pipe trenches.
