Adecco Staffing is partnered with a manufacturing company in Greenfield, MA to hire Manufacturing Associates on a temp-to-hire basis. Shift options include day and night, with rotating weekends. The role supports production by moving materials, stocking supplies, and packaging finished goods.

Under supervision, you will assist operators, manage inventory, and participate in counts. Benefits are offered as part of the overall package and the role offers potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measuring tools (rulers, gauges) and understand fractions/decimals.
• Strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Effective verbal communication for teamwork.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the facility.
• Interpret work orders or verbal instructions to determine required materials.
• Load/unload pallets and shelving units manually or with a forklift.
• Feed resins into processing equipment using vacuum systems or manual methods.
• Prepare and organize packaging materials.
• Package finished products accurately per specs and labeling requirements.
• Use barcode scanners for inventory tracking and material handling.
• Assist machine operators with line setup, roll changes, and cleanup.
• Input roll data and support machine changeovers.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts with warehouse team.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform other duties to support production.

Manufacturing Associate

Pay

• Day Shift: $19.50/hour
• Night Shift: $21.50/hour

Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:05 PM (rotating schedule; every other weekend required)
• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:05 AM (rotating schedule; every other weekend required)

Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Utility Associate plays a key role in supporting production operations. This position assists machine operators, ensures materials and supplies are available, manages inventory, and handles the packaging of finished goods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operates a forklift to move materials within the facility
• Interprets work orders or verbal instructions to determine required materials
• Loads and unloads pallets, containers, and shelving units manually or using a forklift
• Feeds resins into processing equipment using vacuum systems or manual methods
• Prepares and organizes packaging materials
• Packages finished products accurately per specifications and labeling requirements
• Uses barcode scanners for inventory tracking and material handling
• Assists machine operators with line setup, roll changes, and cleanup
• Inputs roll data, changes trim, and supports machine changeovers
• Participates in monthly inventory counts with the warehouse team
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information including formulas, materials, and equipment settings
• Performs other duties as assigned to support production

Pay Details

Pay Details: $19.50 to $21.50 per hour
