Job summary

Adecco Staffing is seeking a Production Assistant for a 3rd shift role with a manufacturer in Ayer, MA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a pay rate of $24/hour and a shift differential.

Responsibilities include ERP-based order management, scheduling, materials verification, and GMP compliance. Requires basic computer skills, ERP experience, and ability to multitask in a food manufacturing environment. Training of operators and SOPs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift/carry items.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, SQF is a plus.

• Open and close job orders in the ERP system per company policy.
• Verify job orders in ERP and investigate discrepancies.
• Verify materials and lot numbers used on lines.
• Print and distribute production schedules for manufacturing.
• Perform cycle counts (cartons, caps, labels, etc.).
• Assist with training of new operators and SOPs.
• Support OEE improvements under shift supervisor.
• Fill in for line workers during absences or vacations.

Job description

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturer in Ayer, MA who is looking for a qualified Production Assistant on 3rd shift!This is a temp to hire position.

Pay: $24/hour - once hired on, shift differential included.

Schedule: 10:45pm to 7:30am, Sunday through Thursday

What You’ll Do

• Open and close job orders in the ERP system in accordance with the company’s policies and practices.


• Verify job orders are correct in the ERP system and investigate any discrepancies.


• Verify correct materials and correct lot numbers are being used on manufacturing lines.


• Print and distribute production schedules for manufacturing


• Perform cycle counts, i.e. cartons, caps, labels, etc.


• Assist with training new operators or training of standard operating procedures.


• Assist with analysis studies and OEE improvements, under the director of the shift supervisor.


• Perform supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the shift supervisor.


• Fill in for line workers due to absences or vacation schedules.


• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).


• All other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

What You Bring

• Basic computer skills

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.


• May require bending or lifting.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
