Quality Talent Group is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator to support fast-paced construction projects in Annapolis, MD. This role focuses on safe operation of loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, along with routine maintenance and on-site housekeeping.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical aptitude, and strong safety awareness. Experience with utility systems is a plus, and strong communication is essential for teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety policies under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
