The Vessel Utility Operator is responsible for final assembly and inspection of welded vessels, ensuring specifications and delivery requirements are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities include post-weld treatment such as sandblasting, hydroblasting, and painting/powder coating as needed.

Compensation ranges from $18-19/hour. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Set up manufacturing equipment, perform final assembly and inspections on welded vessels.
2. Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment.
3. Maintain records of equipment operations.
4. Communicate with team members and management about concerns, discrepancies, and improvement ideas.
5. Follow safety requirements and work safely at all times.
6. Keep work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret work instructions, manuals, and job packages.
• Proficiency with computers and computer-controlled equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and perform basic math.
• Manufacturing setup experience preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated with high attendance.
• Ability to lift approximately 50lbs and move about 20ft.
• Ability to handle materials using equipment like pallet jacks.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.

Pay Range

$14.40 - $21.60
