Summary:

Assist in daily operations of the Finishing Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in training and actively practice the STOP Safety Program to help achieve a zero-accident rate.
• Retrieve setup information and follow instructions on the job jacket.
• Assist with production machinery, monitor quality, production, and waste, adhering to customer specifications.
• Keep work areas clean and perform sanitation responsibilities safely.
• Monitor quality requirements and complete necessary quality check sheets.
• Participate in safety programs and follow safety rules.
• Attend scheduled meetings related to quality, safety, and projects.
• Work all scheduled shifts and overtime as required.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours:

Days 7am - 7pm on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret instructions, communicate effectively, perform basic math, and apply common sense to instructions.

Physical Demands:

Regularly stand, use hands, talk, hear; occasionally walk, reach, and lift up to 100 pounds with proper technique.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, vibration; moderate noise level.
