Position starts at $32.63 per hour and health benefits start day 1. Additional $1.10 per hour for off shifts.

Job Overview

Sets up and operates a variety of machines throughout the shop. This is a utilitarian job title whereby the company can send the employee to any department in which they are needed. Contributes to flexibility of the workforce.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Follow work procedure according to work center assigned.
• Obeys all safety rules, wears proper PPE, and adheres to 6S standards.
• Will operate at least 3 areas of the shop (i.e. lathe, miller, shaper, burring, hobbing, etc.).
• Refer to Best Practices manual for further direction.
• Perform all daily TPM activities as required.
• Assist engineers and supervision to make improvements to parts, methods, fixturing, and workplace organization for continuous improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School/GED.
• Strong shop mathematics (trigonometry) aptitude and the ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, mics, and other gauges).
• Ability to run at least three areas such as CNC Lathe, Broach, Milling, Burring, Gear Hobbing, Gear Grinding, Gear Shaping, Straightening, etc.
