Utility Operator: Looking for Utility Operators to work in Metro and Rural Minnesota as well as outlying areas. Preferred Experience (but not required) in operating larger vehicles that contain robotic equipment that require a Class B driver's license. Please apply even if knowledge-based requirements are not fully met. Looking for future team members to have a positive attitude and a self-starter mentality and enjoy working outside in Minnesota's four seasons. (Employees are not required to work within extreme weather conditions, i.e., extreme cold.) Being a successful utility operator/team member on one of our crews is dependent on the proper managing and maintenance of the equipment which utilizes a variety of skills such as being mechanically inclined, familiarity and cognitive operation of computers, proficiency in the ability to read and write, and the ability to communicate clearly. Because of the specialized nature of our work, we do much of our training in-house. Please note this position is located in Mankato, MN, about 1 hour southwest of the Twin Cities metro area. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in living in a smaller community and still be able to make good wages while having most amenities available as in a larger metro area.
