Job summary

Quality Talent Group represents a client seeking a Utility Operator to support safe, efficient operation of loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and related utility systems at active construction sites across North America.

You will perform groundwork, monitor equipment performance, read technical manuals and schematics, and follow health, safety, and environmental policies while maintaining site cleanliness and teamwork under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
