  • Perform secondary ops on milling, lathe and drill press.
  • Backup hose testing following protocols.
  • Refill floor dry containers to manage spills.
  • Monitor and inventory shop supplies.
  • Scrape and clean flooring.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor/plant manager.
  • Follow SOPs and locate procedures and forms.

  • This position is responsible for supporting production operations within the facility by performing various tasks like general cleaning, maintaining equipment, moving materials, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and functionality of the production area within industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for all computer input required for the position.
  • Pick up garbage from each Department as needed.
  • Safely unload steel bars from trucks and properly maintain inventory.
  • Haul all chips from machines and properly process them.
  • Perform secondary operations on milling machine, lathe, and drill press to support production.
  • Act as backup for hose testing duties, following established protocols.
  • Refill floor dry containers to manage spills effectively.
  • Monitor and inventory shop supplies (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper) to ensure adequate stock.
  • Scrape and clean flooring.
  • Any other jobs that the Supervisor, General Foreman or Plant Manager asks to be done.
  • Must be familiar with, and follow, all standard operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of how and where to locate procedures and forms relevant to this position.

  • Strong literacy and comprehension skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
