Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator to support fast-paced production environments across North America. This role focuses on safe operation of loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and monitoring utility systems for efficiency.

You will read technical manuals, troubleshoot equipment, and follow strict safety policies while maintaining clean, organized worksites and assisting with additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
