This is manual work involving limited skilled tasks of a physically demanding nature. An employee in this role, under supervision, assists with installing, maintaining, repairing, servicing, enlarging, and relocating wastewater and storm water facilities. The position is essential personnel and requires responding to emergencies as needed within the Department of Public Works.
Salary: $22.97/hour
High school diploma or GED required. Must have a valid vehicle operator's license and Maryland State Flagger Certification or obtain within 6 months.
Details for Technician II, III, and IV include increased responsibilities, certifications, experience, and supervisory duties, with corresponding salary increases.
