Job summary

USIC, America's leader in underground utility damage prevention, is seeking outdoor-oriented Locator professionals for full-time field work across our service areas. You will locate, mark, document, and photograph underground utilities safely and efficiently.

No prior locating experience is needed, but a safety mindset and reliability are essential; we provide 100% paid training, a company vehicle, tech tools, and a clear path for career advancement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer) and mark locations.
• Thoroughly search designated areas, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time shifts with potential overtime and on-call duties.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.
