Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC seeks an outdoor utility locator to perform field work across designated areas. You will locate and mark underground utilities, verify locations, and document each locate with photos.

A safety-focused mindset and reliable transportation are essential to succeed. We offer a comprehensive training program, overtime and on-call shifts, and a path for career advancement within a recognized leader in underground utility damage prevention.

Qualifications

Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Proficiency with technology and reporting tools.
Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

Locate underground utilities safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Search designated areas, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
