Job summary

QTS Data Centers, a global leader in digital infrastructure, seeks a Utility Development Project Manager to support planning and execution of utility capacity at multiple campuses.

You will liaise with energy leaders, manage schedules and budgets, procure equipment, and deliver projects on time and within scope while traveling up to 50%.

This role requires a technical background in electrical engineering or construction and a track record of managing medium/high voltage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction, or equivalent professional experience.
• Four or more years of medium/high voltage construction management.
• Four or more years of experience running multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint for executive updates and Excel for budgets.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with partners and consultants on electrical substation design and construction.
• Establish project schedules and milestones for utility projects.
• Develop budgets and forecast costs for utility projects and equipment.
• Procure long-lead substation equipment and oversee construction of multiple sites.
• Deliver projects on-schedule and within scope, tracking power delivery timelines.
• Prepare scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services.
