Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Management, or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Analytical acumen with ability to collect data and design efficient workflows.
  • Creative design skills to generate innovative solutions.
  • Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
  • Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Team oriented with effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiar with change management, cost reduction, and process improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret general technical procedures or regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Nebraska Professional Engineer license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with technical support for new installations and upgrades of district energy infrastructure.
  • Provide communication with internal staff, suppliers, contractors, and project managers to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate design reviews with internal stakeholders and review drawings/submittals.
  • Collaborate with contractors and design firms to schedule project execution.
  • Develop and review technical specifications, standards, drawings, and contracts.
  • Design and manage small to medium infrastructure upgrade projects.
  • Maintain and update operating procedures and technical documentation.
