Job summary

Lincoln Electric System is seeking a Projects Engineering Manager in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role leads a team of engineers across planning, design, construction, and project management of critical electric systems and generation facilities within the Power Supply division.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, 7+ years of utilities experience including supervision, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering required.
• Seven years of progressively responsible utilities experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Projects Engineering department and staff, manage budgets, develop goals and strategic plans.
• Lead engineering design, construction oversight, and project management for electric systems and DEC.
• Coordinate with operations, construction, contractors, and other teams to ensure safe, reliable, and on-schedule projects.
• Provide leadership in staff development, performance reviews, and resource planning.
