Job summary

MasTec Utility Services in Georgia is seeking a UGE Laborer/Groundman to support the construction team by preparing sites, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with skilled trades. You will identify utilities, operate equipment, and help ensure a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1 year of experience (preferred).
• CDL Class A driver's license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.
