Job summary

OLD EDWARDS HOSPITALITY GROUP LLC is seeking a Utility Dishwasher to support the kitchen team in Highlands area, NC. You will keep the dish area clean, supply cookware to staff, and assist with opening/closing tasks as time allows.

A willingness to assist in prep and general duties is important in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role involves standing for long periods in a hot kitchen and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a commercial or hotel kitchen preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe and efficient dish area.
• Provide kitchen and waitstaff with serving items and cookware as required.
• Assist with removing trash, putting away deliveries and completing opening/closing lists as time allows.
• Ensure chemicals and required equipment are in stock and in working order.
• Help with general kitchen prep when able.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Chef.

The Utility Dishwasher works as part of the kitchen team to keep all dishes, glassware, silverware and kitchen equipment cleaned throughout the course of operation hours of the restaurant.
