Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field; ISA Arborist Certification obtainable within 12 months.
• Species identification skills and knowledge of invasive species; ability to work in rugged terrain.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories; assess hazard trees.
• Plan work for tree contractors and manage field data.
• Verify data across databases and ensure accurate reporting.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards and enforce safety.
• Travel to job sites and operate equipment as needed.
