Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to manage vegetation along utility corridors, working outdoors with utility clients, property owners, and contractors.

You will perform inventories, pruning and removals, plan work, and ensure safety while using company-provided vehicles and gear. This role emphasizes environmental stewardship, professional development, and serving communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist preferred.
• Strong species identification and invasive species knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer service oriented.
• MAP navigation and GIS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with property owners and public agencies regarding pruning and removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories and hazard tree inspections.
• Plan and coordinate work for tree contractors.
• Manage and maintain vegetation data.
• Promote and enforce on-the-job safety practices.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
