Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman for projects in the Northern VA/DC/MD area. The role supervises crews performing roadway and utility installation, ensuring plan adherence, safety, and on-time progress.

You will coordinate with superintendents and project engineers, train workers, and maintain detailed job records to support production goals. Qualified candidates have five years of related experience, strong reading of blueprints, and a proven record of leading

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with water/storm/sewer pipe installation, grading for roadways, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documents and plans, ensuring all questions are answered before proceeding.
• Directs and trains crew in performing work as shown on contract drawings and specifications.
• Acts as OSHA defined 'competent person' on job and enforces safety regulations.
