Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to lead a small crew in the Kinsman, OH region. The role involves pruning, removal, and maintenance of equipment with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring line clearance or related tree work experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to pursue CDL training if not already licensed. CDL-A/B with air brake is preferred. Company offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

• Love of the outdoors.
• Must complete Davey Tree Orientation Program on hire.
• Must complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving on hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL-Class A/B with Air Brake endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Required: line clearance experience or related tree work.
• Preferred: relevant pesticide licenses if state law requires.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist/Tree Worker and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.

Mansioni

Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance, is pleased to offer a key opportunity as an experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson preferably with climbing experience and/or a CDL holder, joining our team servicing the Kinsman, OH region.

Job Duties

Lead a2-5 person treecrew inperforming all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully formajor electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:

• Pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application oftree identificationknowledgeand industry pruning guidelines
• Perform job-siteinspections with proper planning and execution of assigned work and tasks
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
• Mentor and train new employees

Qualifications

What We're Seeking:

• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain
• Required: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
