Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Harrisville and Clintonville, PA is seeking an Experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson. You will lead a crew of 2–5 in pruning and removing trees for major electric utilities, with CDL and/or climbing experience preferred.

This on-site, full-time role includes competitive hourly pay ($27.71–$29.51) based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training, advancement and company-sponsored scholarships.

Mansioni

• Lead a 2–5 person crew in tree pruning and removal for utility work.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs near utilities.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects.
• Inspect job sites with proper planning and safety execution of tasks.

Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance, a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company, is pleased to offer a key opportunity as an Experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson, CDL and/or climbing experience preferred, joining a team working from the Harrisville PA to Clintonville PA regions.

Job Duties

Lead a2-5 person treecrew inperforming all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully formajor electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:

• Pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application oftree identificationknowledgeand industry pruning guidelines
• Perform job-siteinspections with proper planning and execution of assigned work and tasks
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
• Mentor and train new employees

Qualifications

What We're Seeking:

• Love of the outdoors
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain
• Required: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
