Job summary

Tyson Foods in Storm Lake, IA is seeking a team member for the 2nd shift, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Compensation starts at $25.45 per hour, including a $1.00 shift premium and a $1.00 attendance bonus.

Responsibilities include recording data, operating scales, unloading ingredients, using pelleting and batching systems, performing quality analyses, and maintaining safety and housekeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
• Follow and Operate within Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Physical requirements to perform job with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Record data accurately and document incoming ingredients via the ticketing system
• Operate scales and unload feed ingredients to storage silos
• Use pelleting and batching systems to produce finished feed per run schedules
• Obtain and run quality analyses on required incoming ingredients
• Lift with tools to unload ingredients and perform minor maintenance
• Operate loading equipment and ensure correct feed type for farms
• Organize tasks, adapt priorities, and manage feed bin inventory
• Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments with exposure to dust
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand
• Follow safety procedures and Tyson biosecurity guidelines, avoid avian species
• Maintain clean, organized service areas

Job Duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of continuous employments with previous employer.
