Job summary

HDR is seeking a Utility EIT/Design Coordinator in Charleston or Columbia, SC. You will assist with utility coordination on civil projects, perform records research, and support SUE investigations under a licensed PE.

The role involves working with teams to design wet and dry utilities and produce client deliverables. Preferred candidates hold an EIT or are pursuing it, with two years of related experience in Transportation/Roadway/Utility sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field required.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture expected.
• Two years of related experience in Transportation/Roadway/Utility industries preferred.
• Proficiency with Bentley/Autodesk design tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with utility coordination and identify utility risk.
• Research utility records and prepare contact lists.
• Coordinate SUE investigations and assist with field work.
• Assist with utility design and plan production for client deliverables.
• Support QA/QC of plans, specs, and cost estimates.
