KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Utility MicroStation / ORD Design Technician to support project deliverables by processing collected data and ensuring quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, you will assist in maintaining data accuracy, coordinating with utility coordinators, and ensuring compliance with NCDOT and company standards while supporting multiple projects.

Competenze

• 2+ years of MicroStation / ORD drafting experience.
• Proficiency in MicroStation / ORD or similar drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of utility engineering principles.
• Experience with survey data and geospatial information is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork.
• Valid Driver’s License; pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Mansioni

• Process utility design files from each utility involved, maintain company standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NCDOT styles and expectations.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure client-specific requirements and project deadlines are met.
• Perform routine project tasks to support efficient operations.
• Assist with quality control (QC) of client deliverables to ensure accuracy and adherence to KCI standards.
• Monitor / oversee multiple utility coordination projects, perform quality assurance, providing feedback as needed.
• Provide technical and administrative support to team members.
• Conduct initial quality checks on Utility Design / Concepts to ensure proper clearance to perform work without conflict.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support company strategic goals.
• Uphold the company’s vision, mission, and core values.
