Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) in the United States is seeking a MicroStation / ORD Technician to support geospatial and construction-phase projects. You will process data, ensure quality, and assist with project deliverables while collaborating with project teams to meet client requirements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proficiency in MicroStation / ORD, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Sr.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, computers, or drafting, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of MicroStation / ORD drafting experience in utility engineering, utility mapping, utility coordination, or related fields.
• Proficiency in MicroStation / ORD, or similar software for drafting.
• Understanding of utility engineering principles.
• Familiarity with survey data, geospatial information, and field-collected utility data is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project managers and upper management.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Process utility design files for each project, maintain company standards, ensuring accuracy and GDOT-style compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet client requirements and deadlines.
• Assist with quality control of client deliverables to ensure SAM standards.
• Monitor multiple utility coordination projects, perform quality assurance, provide feedback as needed.
• Conduct initial quality checks on Utility Design/Concepts to ensure proper clearance for work.
• Support company strategic goals with additional tasks as needed.
