Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager within our Utility Coordination group to lead and perform project management for complex, high-priority projects embedded with a client. The role focuses on coordinating utility relocations, reviewing SUE reports, managing consultants, and ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Travel up to 25% and a valid driver's license are required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; experience in utility coordination with railroads/DOTs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; experience in utility coordination.
• Experience with utility coordination for rail and DOT projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with budgets and deadlines.
• Strong client service orientation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and obtain E-Rail safe certification.

Responsibilities

• Review plan sets and SUE reports to identify utility conflicts.
• Coordinate with utility contacts to relocate or protect assets.
• Serve as liaison between client’s utility coordination group and stakeholders.
• Track project status, submittals, resolutions, and finances.
• Monitor progress to align deliverables with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to complete deliverables.
• Develop client relationships to secure future work.
• Ensure safety standards compliance.
• Travel with clients up to 25% per week.
• Maintain valid driver's license and comply with policies.
