Job summary

HDR is seeking a Utility Coordinator I to support transportation projects in Houston. You will identify and resolve utility conflicts, coordinate SUE investigations and manage submittals, while researching records and preparing reports for clients.

Strong reading of civil plans and real estate documents, plus proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, ArcGIS and CAD tools, are required. Collaboration with project teams and utility owners is essential to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree required.
• Ability to read and understand civil transportation plans and real estate documents.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, ArcGIS, AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, communicate and resolve utility conflicts on roadway projects.
• Coordinate subsurface utility investigations, schedules and submittals.
• Research utility records and prepare contact ledgers and reports.
• Work independently with project teams and utility owners.
• Prepare client deliverables, exhibits, guides, reviews and invoices.
• QA/QC utility company agreements, plans and cost estimates.
• Communicate with project managers and clients to meet schedules and regulations.
