Job summary

The IAPMO Group is seeking a Utility Supervisor to lead construction operations in the Chesapeake area. You’ll oversee safety, quality, and profitability across projects while managing crews and subcontractors to keep work on schedule.

This role requires field readiness, the ability to read blueprints, and coordinating with customers to meet specifications and industry standards. CDL Class A is strongly preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising utility construction crews and projects.
• Comfort working from blueprints and specifications.
• Valid CDL Class A strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple utility construction projects and the crews running them
• Own job performance on safety, quality, schedule, and cost
• Coordinate subcontractors and customers to keep workflow moving
• Solve problems in the field when delays, material issues, or staffing gaps hit
• Make sure installations meet customer specifications and industry standards
• Support estimates and proposals through site surveys
