Ebon Energy is building its U.S. presence in the power and energy infrastructure market, with a focus on transformer and power-distribution solutions serving utilities, data centers, and other critical infrastructure customers.
As we expand our U.S. commercial organization and North American market presence, we are building a team of experienced industry leaders who can help establish strategic customer relationships, develop key accounts, and position Ebon as a trusted power-infrastructure partner.
Ebon Energy is seeking an experienced Utility Business Development Director - Power & Transformer Solutions to lead the development of our North American utility business.
This is a hands-on market-building role for a commercial leader who understands how transformers and power-distribution equipment are sold into the utility market and can develop relationships across municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, small and mid-sized utilities, EPCs, engineering firms, and utility supply channels.
You will lead strategic utility opportunities from early customer engagement and vendor qualification through specification, bidding, commercial negotiation, and purchase order, while helping establish Ebon as an approved transformer and power-distribution supplier in the North American utility market.
The role will combine direct strategic-account development with the development of a regional Manufacturers' Representative network.
Compliance: Candidates must be free from any active non-compete or contractual restrictions that would prevent immediate engagement with relevant target customer groups.
This is an opportunity to join Ebon Energy at an important stage of our U.S. growth and help build the utility business from the ground up.
Rather than stepping into a narrowly defined sales territory, you will have the opportunity to help shape market strategy, develop key utility relationships, establish approved-vendor positions, build regional market coverage, and influence how we approach the North American utility and transformer market.
You will work directly with leadership, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams as the organization expands.
For an experienced transformer or utility-industry commercial leader who enjoys building—not simply maintaining—an established book of business, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Ebon's U.S. growth.
Ebon Energy offers a competitive compensation package designed to recognize both individual performance and contribution to long-term business growth. The compensation structure for this position may include:
Specific compensation components will be determined based on the position, experience, qualifications, performance expectations, and applicable incentive programs.
Ebon Energy also offers a competitive benefits package for eligible U.S. employees, including:
If you have strong relationships in the North American utility ecosystem, understand how transformer and power-distribution opportunities move from vendor qualification and specification through bid and award, and are energized by the opportunity to help build a business rather than simply inherit one, we'd like to hear from you.
