Job summary

The City of Maypearl seeks a qualified manager to oversee the Utility Billing department—leading three Utility Account Analysts and ensuring accurate customer records, service changes, meter changes, and rate updates. Responsibilities extend to collecting meter readings, applying corrections, and producing critical reports such as non-payment disconnects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of supervisory experience.
• Three years of utility billing experience.

Responsibilities

• supervise the Utility Billing department, including three Utility Account Analysts.
• prepare and manage all utility billing accounts, customer information, service changes, meter change outs, and rate changes.
• generate monthly utility bills, past due bills, and final bills; prepare service orders and adjustments to utility accounts.
• collect readings from automated meter server, make corrections and adjustments as needed; prepare non-payment disconnect listings and other reports.
