The Utility Billing Customer Service Clerk II provides a variety of clerical, technical, and financial support functions within the Southlake Water Utilities division. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the integrity of customer account records through direct interactions with the public and internal staff. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and handling customer inquiries regarding utility billing and account management. The position requires frequent interaction with both internal and external customers via telephone, email, mail, and in-person communications. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer utility accounts, processing payments, generating correspondence, and ensuring the accuracy of billing and account data. The Utility Billing Customer Service Clerk II also assists with daily operations, including clerical support and account reconciliation for both residential and commercial accounts.
