Job summary

Wayne Farms in Texas seeks a diligent worker to fill in on the production line when regular staff are absent. You will assist with deboning, set up lines, train coworkers, and maintain a clean, safe workstation following company policies and animal welfare guidelines.

The role requires ability to work nights, weekends and extended shifts, with adherence to PPE requirements and safety rules in a wet, cold production environment.

• Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand up to 8 hours
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
• Will be exposed to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving production equipment
• Ability to lift 10 lbs repeatedly and climb steps
• Ability to frequently kneel, crawl, stoop, and bend
• Work around raw, live animal odors
