Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a dependable production team member to support deboning operations in Lumberton, NC. The role involves filling in for absent coworkers, setting up lines, and assisting with knife handling and sanitation.

The candidate should be able to follow safety policies, work nights and weekends, and train others as needed. Basic math skills and a high school diploma are preferred but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Independently fills in and performs work when the regular worker is absent from the workstation.
• Distributes knives prior to shift start, swaps out knives during shift and collects at end of shift.
• Sets up assigned lines with stands and ice.
• Trains/cross-trains incoming or current workers on new skills as needed.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work area around the assigned line.
• Complies with company safety policies and PPE requirements.
