Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a production associate to perform deboning duties and support multiple lines. The role requires the ability to work unsupervised in a cold, fast-paced environment and to train others as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, handling knives safely, and respecting all safety and animal welfare guidelines. Evening and weekend shifts may be required to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Leadership abilities shown in coordinating tasks and guiding coworkers.
• Ability to work unsupervised and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts as needed.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Independently fills in and performs work when the regular worker is absent.
• Distributes knives before shift, swaps during shift, and collects at end of shift.
• Sets up lines with stands and ice to ensure efficient workflow.
• Trains or cross-trains new or current workers on required skills as needed.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area around the assigned line.
• Follows all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable laws.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
