Long Beach Community Action Partnership is seeking a Program Support Specialist to handle utility assistance mail and online applications, verify eligibility, and input data accurately. The role emphasizes strong customer service and compliance across two funding sources.

The position is on-site in Long Beach, CA, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of data entry or application processing experience.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Support all energy services units as needed.
• Attend trainings, meetings and other program activities.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Exercise discretion, initiative, and independent judgment.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Ensure program compliance in all processes.
